With Powell County seeing snow totals ranging from three to five inches throughout the county, several children decided to take advantage of it and do a little sleigh riding last Saturday afternoon. Darren Patrick, 10, (front) and Sawyer Kenniston, 9, took their turn down the hill on Strange Street in Stanton, as Nikki Patrick, 12, (top left) and Ethan Campbell, 10, watched and waited for their turn. Several more neighborhood children joined in, but the snow quickly disappeared as temperatures neared 40 on Sunday.
