The Powell County Cheerleaders show off their ribbons and trophy they earned last Saturday at the KAPOS State Competition. The cheerleaders had placed second at the regionals on Jan. 27, but were given a second chance when they were chosen and accepted an at-large bid. Powell placed behind Pikeville, George Rogers Clark and Lexington Bryan Station. Powell was one of 16 squads who took part in the competition.
