Toney Pelfrey, 86
Toney Pelfrey, 86, 3619 Campton Road, husband of Stanlee Wills Pelfrey, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 at his home. He was born Aug. 10, 1921 in Powell County to the late Paris and Betty Willoughby Pelfrey. He was a World War II veteran, a former state highway employee, a retiree of Bundy Tubing, and a long time member and elder of Cat Creek Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter-in-law Becky Pelfrey.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Stanlee Marie Pelfrey; sons, Myron Dale and wife Joan Pelfrey and Dallas Lynn Pelfrey; grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth and Matthew Holbrook Pelfrey; special friends, David Creech and Cebert Rogers, all of Stanton.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 at Wells Funeral Home, Stanton by Bro. Dwaine Meadows, Bro. Eugene Reed and David Creech.
Pallbearers were Larry Pelfrey, Edsel Pelfrey, Elmo Napier, Bill Cress, Mendel Tipton and Raymond Ewen.

Arnold Angel, 40
Arnold Dale Angel, 40, of 221 College Street, Winchester, formerly of Clay City, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007 at Clark Regional Medical Center. Born Dec. 17, 1967 in Clark County, he was a son of the late Clarence and Nancy Curtis Angel. He was a self-employed electrician and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Natasha and Kimberly Angel of Clay City; one grandchild, Makayla Frazier; six brothers, Robert (Kim) Angel, Russell (Marie) Angel and Wayne Angel, all of Winchester, Joe (Brenda) Angel of Clay City, and “Doug (Juanita) Angel of Mt. Sterling, and David Angel of Florida; and two sisters, Pam (Dennis) Leasure of Florida and Laura (Jeff) Wagner.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007 at Hearne Funeral Home Chapel, Stanton by Bro. James Smith with burial at Salem Cemetery.
His brothers and Tyler Angel served as pallbearers. Tommy Banks was an honorary pallbearer.

Della Smith, 45
Della Wylene Smith, 45, of 160 Hobbs Road, Beattyville, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007 at Kentucky River Medical Center, Jackson. She was born Aug. 24, 1962 in Fayette County, to Edwin and Janice F. Conley Smith of Beattyville. She was employed as a caregiver, attended Indian Creek Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed sewing, especially needlepoint.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Clayton Guy Smith and John Paul (Angeli) Smith, both of Beattyville; two nephews, Cody Holiday and Derrick Smith; two nieces, Whitney and Madison Smith; and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at Hearne Funeral Home Inc., at noon Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007 by Rev. Garett Thomas with burial at Stanton Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bill, Bobby, Darrell, Dustin, Ronnie and Tommy Pelfrey.
Booneville Funeral Home and Hearne Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
