James and Phyllis McCall of Stanton took some time to show off some rather large, red tomatoes. Ms. McCall said the only thing she did to them was plant them and water them a tim eor two when it did not look like any rain was coming soon. All three of these tomatoes weighted right at one pound each. They also have a rather large green tomato still on the vine, which appears to be bigger than these three. The McCalls are the parents of Powell County High School Principal Lonnie McCall and say they love to grow their own vegetables.
