Church Camp
Youth Haven Bible Camp teen camp for grades 7-12 will be June 9-13. Teen campers must have completed the seventh grade. Grade school camps for grades 3-6 will be June 16-20, June 23-27, July 7-11. Grade school campers must have completed the third grade.Early registration before June 2 will be $60—mail full $60 with pre-registration slip, you save $15. Next best deal is $65—mail $10 deposit with pre-registration slip, pay $55 on arrival. $10 deposit must accompany pre-registration. After June 2 the cost will be $75—$10 deposit and $65 on arrival or full $75 with registration slip.For Powell County participants needing transportation meet Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Stanton Food Court. Full Gospel Evangelistic
The Barnes Family will present gospel music through June 8 at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m.at Full Gospel Evangelistic Ministry Church, 1972 Winchester Rd., Irvine.
Epperson Church of God
Epperson First Church of God, KY 89 in Clark County will have a 16 family yard sale and silent auction on Saturday, June 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch will be served as well as baked goods. Proceeds will go toward the new Fellowship Hall. For more information call 498-9422 or 744-1209.
Blessed Assurance
The Blessed Assurance Church, 44 N. Main, Stanton will hold daytime VBS from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. June 16-20, for boys and girls ages 5 through 12. In order to prepare the free lunches, children planning to attend must pre-register in the month of May by calling 606-723-6243 or, come to the church any Saturday in May (except 17) from 1-3 p.m.
Vaughn’s Mill Independent
